Quality production features

This depalletizer is built with a channel steel frame with welded and bolted construction that eliminates vibration and ensures long machine life. It features 1-1/4″ solid shafts on the pallet conveyor and sweep bar drive units, and 1-1/2″ elevator table drive shaft for strength. Heavy duty industrial roller chain carries the elevator table. These efficient design and quality production features ensure high volume, reliable operation.

Versatile for many applications

This depalletizer runs plastic, glass, aluminum, steel and composite containers interchangeably, with no optional change parts required. It can handle loads up to 110″ high.

The pallet conveyor system has been designed for smooth transfer and load staging. It all starts with the solid welded frame construction combined with triple strand chain guided by UHMW track. The standard conveyor control utilizes frequency control drives for smooth acceleration and deceleration of your loads. It also has reversing capability to remove any unwanted loads.

The heavy-duty hoist utilizes a four point chain lift. Each chain has its own dynamic chain tensioning drive guaranteeing smooth lifting of the load.

Once the load has been lifted and is in place the high performance sweep delivers the goods. The Turbos Series sweep carriage is supported in each corner by a unique linear bearing to offer smooth operation.

The Turbo Series frequency controlled variable speed drive ensures smooth acceleration and deceleration during sweep layer transfer, keeping the containers together as they enter the accumulation bed.

The accumulation bed features a modular formed channel construction for strength and rigidity that allows for easy installation and future expansion. The standard low friction plastic belt is supported by a steel slider bed.

Valiant presents The Xodus Low Level Bulk Depalletizer from Priority One, a division of Busse, with high efficiency systems designed to remove layers of containers from a pallet and transport the containers to an accumulation table or infeed conveyor. The system can operate automatically with options to remove tier sheets, picture frames, inverted trays and pallets.

The Xodus operates on-demand, performing all functions simultaneously, resulting in output speeds of up to 4 layers per minute including pallet change. Minimal operator attention is required and changeovers for different size containers can be made in five minutes by a single operator.

The unique design and workflow easily adapts to variations between layers and pallet loads. Photo eyes a proximity sensors monitor load level and load height, providing the system flexibility to operate effectively even when pallet loads are not completely perpendicular. Minimal pallet load movement takes place during product transfer.

Quality, heavy-duty construction provides smooth, vibration-free operation. Lift and carriage motors are driven through variable frequency AC controllers, and the unique design of transfer mechanisms reduces electro-mechanical wear.

The design and manufacturing standards employed by Busse/SJI enable this system to deliver years of low maintenance, trouble-free performance, while providing the flexibility to adapt to changing load configuration demands.

Continuous Operation for Maximum Productivity – All individual operations from product capture, sweeping, product discharge, etc. operate simultaneously, this significantly reduces idle time, maximizing depalletizer efficiency.

The automatic cycling features are interrupted when material flow is disrupted or a downstream problem occurs. The system automatically restarts when the disturbance has been corrected.
