GC Evans Cooling Tunnels are designed to require the minimum of mechanical maintenance. All key components are accessible and easily replaced. We engineer our Cooling Tunnels on the principle that the customer should pay it a minimum of attention – “Set It and Forget It”.
300 Series stainless construction throughout
Choice of cooling water delivery systems: Evaporative or Conductive
Removable panels along both sides for easy interior access
Internal belt return system to minimize external water
High strength, heavy duty modular plastic belt with infeed and discharge finger transfer plates
Zoned cooling for maximum process benefit without thermal shock damage to containers
Customized water usage systems with supplied heat exchanger for efficient utilization of the facility’s cooling tower, chilled water or fresh water
Pre-wired and pre-tested custom control package with digital display process controller to accurately maintain temperature setting by zones
